Heavenly is planning a “13 days of Christmas” family festival at Heavenly Village. Events include professional ice skating shows, ice sculptors, carolers, local artists and a 16-foot snow globe where kids can get their photos taken with Santa. The festival starts December 19, and ends the 31st with a Heavenly New Year’s Celebration featuring ice sculptors, live music, fire dancers, and a 9:00pm ball drop and fireworks show.
Santa’s Workshop Snow Globe
December 19-24, 2:00pm to 7:00pm, Heavenly Village.
Santa’s workshop will be recreated inside of a 16-foot interactive snow globe. Children and families will be able to go inside of the globe to sit on Santa’s lap. A disc jockey will play holiday music from Dec. 19-23 and on Dec 24th there will be live music from the Dickens Boys.
December 26-29, 2:00pm to 4:30pm, Heavenly Village
Four days of live music on stage adjacent to Bellamy Court under the Gondola. Bands include Jelly Bread, Lavish Green, Trey Stone, and Tragically White.
December 29-30, 7:00pm, Heavenly Village Ice Rink
This is a twenty minute professional ice skating show featuring Jeb Rand and his wife Jennifer. The pair were “nationally ranked” US pairs figure skaters.
December 30th, 7:30pm, Heavenly Village, adjacent to the Ice Rink.
“Fear no Ice” is the world’s first and only performance ice sculpting company. Since 1989, they have represented the USA in two winter Olympics and have competed in over 10 world championships.
New Year’s Eve Celebration
December 31, 3:00pm to 9:00pm, Heavenly Village
View the ice sculptures, live music, face painting, and an encore ice sculpting performance. The evening ends with the Gondola Ball Drop and fireworks display.
