The Tahoe Fund Plate for Powder: Ski Free

The Tahoe Fund is offering two free lift tickets when you order Tahoe license plates. Tahoe license plate fees help support trails, parks, water quality and restoration projects a Lake Tahoe. To receive tickets you must order your California or Nevada plates through the tahoefund.org website. Tickets are good (Nordic or Alpine) at the following resorts: Alpine, Boreal, Heavenly, Homewood, Kirkwood, NorthStar, Royal Gorge, Sierra, Squaw Valley, Sugar Bowl, and Tahoe Donner. The California Tahoe Plate is $50 and the Nevada Tahoe Plate is $61.

The Tahoe Fund’s mission is to protect and improve the natural environment of the Lake Tahoe Basin for the enjoyment of current and future generations. Projects include the Upper Truckee River Restoration, Lake Tahoe Bike way, Tahoe City Lakeside Bike Trail and the Van Sickle Park near Stateline on South Shore.

The Fund raised over $800,000 in public and private donations this year.
