Dew Tour Championship in Utah this weekend

The final stop for the Dew Tour is the Toyota Championships in Snowbasin Resort, Utah Feb. 9-12.  The Dew Tour is a 3 event  tour with previous stops in Breckenridge,CO. and Killington,VT.   The tour features competition snowboard superpipe and slopestyle, as well as freeski slopestyle and superpipe.
Going into the championships this weekend only 4 points separate the men’s freeski superpipe leaders, Kevin Rolland and Torin Yater-Wallace.  Tom Wallisch could clinch the title for men’s freeski slopestyle.  The men’s snowboard superpipe competition is a 2 point spread between Louri Podladtchikov and Louie Vito.  Shaun White won the opener in Breckenridge, but did not attend the second event in Killington.  Therefore, White is sixth in points.  There is no word on Shaun White’s appearance for the championship.
Kelly Clark has a good lead in the Women’s snowboard superpipe and Spencer O’brien has the lead for snowboard slopestyle.  Jamie Anderson of South Lake Tahoe is ranked fifth, down 28 points behind O’Brien.  Maddie Bowman is in first place for freeski superpipe, with Kaya Turski in the lead for freeski slopestyle.
