Ski Day in the Sierra

The snow has been piling up since last evening and more is expected throughout the day. If you’re not already up here, leave now. Chain controls are currently in place. Hwy.80 has chain controls from Gold Run through Truckee and Hwy.50 requires chains from 9 miles East of Placerville to Meyers.
2/13, Monday morning in Truckee

New snow totals as of Monday morning, 2/13.

Sugar Bowl 6” bottom, 8” at the top.
Alpine Meadows 7” bottom, 10” at the top.
Squaw Valley 5” bottom, 6” at the top.
NorthStar 4” bottom, 4” at the top.
Mt. Rose 1 to 3 inches
Kirkwood 10”
