Vail Resorts announces next season pricing

Vail Resorts, owners of 8 resorts, including NorthStar, Heavenly, and Kirkwood, has announced pass prices for next season.  The new passes of course include access to Kirkwood. 
The following pass prices are for “adults”. Other groups cost less.
The Tahoe Value pass, (Sun-Fri) remains the same price of $379.
The New Tahoe Local pass, 7 days a week, is now $419.
The Epic Local pass, has limited restrictions at all Vail resorts for $509.
The Epic pass, has unlimited restrictions at all Vail resorts for $659. 

Vail Resorts recently announced financial reports for the second quarter of fiscal 2012, which ended 1-31-2012.  “Highlights”  from the report show a 14.6% decline in skier visits from the same time last year. Total net revenue was $373.3 million for this quarter compared with $395.1 million last year (down 5.5% from last year).  Major expenditures this year will be a 10-person, heated gondola with Wi-Fi at Vail Mountain and general maintenance at the other resorts.
