The movie was filmed at last year’s Western States 100 race. The race is a difficult 100 mile trail race from Squaw Valley to Auburn, CA. This year’s race will leave Squaw Valley at 5:00am on June 23.
Friends who have seen this movie say it is very well done. The movie is peppered with entertaining action shots and human interest stories of last year’s top runners. You will see the start, aid station action, hardship and elation on the course, plus the emotion at the finish line.
The cocktail reception begins at 6:00pm, with the presentation and movie beginning at 6:30pm. The location is the Olympic Village Lodge. Tickets are $15 for the general public and $10 for Western States Members and Racers. Buy on-line or at Alpenglow Sports in Tahoe City.
