June 9, is the opening day for Woodward Tahoe at Boreal Mountain Resort. That big building (Called “The Bunker” by Woodward campers) in Boreal’s parking lot will be open to the public for this special event.
The Bunker is a 33,000 square foot building for action sports training. The place is crammed full of ramps, jumps, foam pits, trampolines and other fun stuff for trainees to learn aerial awareness.
Professional athletes will be on hand throughout the day for interviews and demonstrations. Athletes include Tony Hawk, Neal Hendrix, Todd Richards, Mike Vallely, Curren Caples, Tanner Hall, Ryan Nyquist, Tom Schaar, Mike Escamilla, Anthony Napolitan, and Chas Guldemond.
Boreal will be spinning a lift from 9:00am to 2:00pm for skiers/boarders with a lift pass.
