Public input needed for Lake Tahoe off-highway vehicle funds

The U.S. Forest Service Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit has applied for grant money from the federal government for off-highway vehicle development funds. The public is invited to voice their comments or concerns about off-highway vehicles in the Lake Tahoe Basin. The 30 day public comment period will end April 1, 2013.


Comments can be emailed to Don Lane at dlane@fs.fet.us or the OHMVR Division at ohvinfo@parks.ca.gov. Written comments can be sent to Don Lane at the LTBMU Forest Supervisor’s Office at 35 College Drive, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150

The Federal Government Grants Program
This Federal program provides financial assistance to cities, counties, districts, and state agencies for off-highway motor vehicles. The money supports the planning, acquisition, development, enforcement, restoration, and conservation of trails and trail facilities.
