Northstar and Heavenly will expand summer activities

Vail Resorts, owner of Northstar and Heavenly ski resorts have announced plans to increase summer activities at 6 of its resorts. The Colorado-based company plans to spend $25 million for these upgrades
Some of the things that could be built at Northstar and Heavenly are zip lines, rope courses, summer tubing, climbing walls, interpretive center, alpine slide (roller coaster) and expanded hiking and biking.
In addition to summer activity investments, Vail Resorts will continue to invest cash to “maintain the high-quality standards” of existing ski equipment.
