Cyclist air-lifted after collison with car in Truckee

A cyclist was struck by a car on Donner Pass Road at Meadow Way (Wild Cherries) on Tuesday afternoon. According to the Tahoe Daily Tribune, The cyclist was injured badly enough to be air-lifted to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno for urgent care. The specific injuries were not reported.

This area of Donner Pass Road is particularly dangerous to cyclists due to the high traffic volume and numerous driveways to businesses in the area.
