Fat Tire Festival at Squaw Valley

DH course prep. FaceBook
The Tahoe Fat Tire Festival returns to Squaw Valley September 13-15. This 3-day festival is a celebration of the mountain bike. Events include bike racing, beer gardens, live music, clinics, and more.
The original Tahoe Fat Tire Festival started in 1989 and was a premier mountain bike event. Unfortunately, the event came to an end in 1999. The event returned last year with the help of Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association and Truckee Trails Foundation. The event returns to Squaw Valley with the goal of promoting mountain bike riding in the Lake Tahoe Basin.
