Lindsey Vonn is back on skis

Lindsey Vonn
It was 7 months ago when Lindsey Vonn crashed during the opening day of Super-G competition in Austria. Vonn was airlifted from the slopes with a right knee injury. The knee required surgery to repair a "complex torn ligament".

Vonn has recently returned to the easy slopes to perform skiing drills under the watchful eye of her trainer, Martin Hager. After the first day of drills, Vonn reported that her knee is pain free and she is excited to begin preparing for the World Cup season and the Sochi Olympics.

Vonn has spent her time away from skiing at the gym for strengthening exercises and with her new hobbies. She now enjoys fly fishing, jet-skiing, snorkeling, and scuba diving. She also had time to follow Tiger Woods around at some golf tournaments.
