Truckee Day Expo and Community Barbecue this June

Sunset over downtown Truckee.
The Town of Truckee invites volunteers on June 7, 2014 to the 11th annual Truckee Day. Truckee Day is a town-wide street clean-up and civic-pride day. Volunteers will be assigned a stretch of road to clean in a neighborhood.

Following the morning clean-up, there will be a town-wide block party at Truckee River Regional Park starting at noon. The party includes an expo of non-profit and public agency information booths.

Clean-up volunteers will get a t-shirt and free barbecue lunch ticket at the block party. Volunteer pre-registration is not required.
