The Tahoe Rim Trail Association (TRTA) will be conducting a survey and count of trail users on July 26, 2014. Grant money from the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency will pay for the data collection. The data collected will be used to improve access to the trailheads through alternative modes of travel.
Volunteers are needed at every trailhead for the count and survey. Volunteers can choose from a list of times and locations. The work requires time, comfortable chair, and a willingness to talk to people.
You can register at the TRTA website or contact Mary Bennington 775-298-4486 or email@example.com for more information.
All volunteer shifts are between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm. Morning shifts are 4.5 hours and afternoon shifts are 3.5 hours.
