Winter Weather Advisor at Tahoe

 Could this be the first significant storm and will warmer weather melt everything in short order?

The National Weather Service in Reno has the following advisory issued Friday, November 28, 2014 for the areas including South Lake Tahoe, Truckee, and Incline Village.

...."Moderate snow tonight and Saturday morning for Lake Tahoe. Snow levels lowering to Lake Tahoe level. Snow will likely create hazardous travel conditions for holiday travelers around the Tahoe basin and Sierra passes".

This advisory is in effect from 10pm Friday through 10am Saturday.

*Additional snow is possible Saturday night and Sunday morning.
*Snow accumulations of 1-4 inches below 7,000 feet and 4-8 inches above that level.

Check with the National Weather Service Forecast Office, Reno to track the weather at Lake Tahoe.
